CNC Operator / CNC Miller - Aerospace Manufacturing - Southend-on-Sea Salary: up to £30,500 (DOE) Experienced CNC Operator required to join a global aerospace manufacturing business producing precision-engineered components. Key Responsibilities: Operate CNC milling machines (horizontal and vertical machining centres) Manufacture small-batch, high-precision aerospace components Work to tight tolerances from detailed engineering drawings Inspect components using precision measuring equipment Carry out drilling, deburring, finishing, and packing of parts Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and accuracy Support wider machine shop, assembly, and fabrication activitiesSkills & Experience: Proven experience as a CNC Operator / CNC Miller Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Experience working with metal materials Competent with metric and imperial measurements Skilled in using inspection and measuring tools Methodical, detail-focused approach Able to work independently and as part of a teamDesirable: Aerospace or automotive manufacturing experience CNC apprenticeship or formal training GCSE Maths and English or equivalentBenefits: Up to £30,500 salary (DOE) 24 days holiday + bank holidays Contributory pension scheme Life assurance Healthcare scheme and employee assistance programme Free gym membership On-site parking, café, and social clubAdditional Information: No visa sponsorship availableFor more information or to apply, please contact Julia at Prime Appointments or submit your application via the link
