About the Role
Our client, a busy and well-established automotive accident repair bodyshop, is looking for an experienced Paint Prepper / Vehicle Prepper to join their team in Raydon.
This is a great opportunity for a skilled bodyshop prepper / paint technician assistant / vehicle preparation technician who takes pride in delivering high-quality preparation work ahead of refinishing.
You will be working in a fast-paced bodyshop environment, preparing vehicles for paint and ensuring all surfaces are finished to a high standard ready for the vehicle paint sprayer / paint technician.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare vehicles for paint refinishing and spraying
Carry out masking, sanding, priming, and filler work
Ensure all surfaces are clean, smooth, and ready for paint application
Assist paint technicians in maintaining workflow within the bodyshop paint department
Carry out minor cosmetic corrections where required
Maintain high standards of quality and attention to detail
Ensure work is completed efficiently within a busy accident repair environment
Follow health and safety procedures within the workshop
About You
Experienced Paint Prepper, Vehicle Prepper, or Bodyshop Prep Technician
Background in automotive accident repair or bodyshop environments
Strong understanding of vehicle preparation and refinishing processes
High attention to detail with a focus on quality finish
Able to work effectively in a fast-paced xwzovoh bodyshop setting
Team player with good communication skills
