About the Role
Teaching Personnel are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join a friendly and supportive Primary School in Newbury. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified professional who is committed to providing high-quality care and education for children in their early years.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework
Support children’s development across all areas, including social, emotional, and cognitive growth
Observe, assess, and record children’s progress
Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
Maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment
Follow safeguarding and health & safety procedures at all times
Requirements
Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare (essential)
Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting
Good understanding of the EYFS framework
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A caring, enthusiastic, and proactive attitude
Up-to-date safeguarding knowledge (or willingness to train)
