An exciting permanent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Mammographer (Radiographer) to join a high-performing breast imaging team in Exeter. What You Will Do:
- Deliver high-quality mammography services in line with NHS Breast Screening Programme standards
- Perform mammography assessments with professionalism and patient care at the forefront
- Assist Consultant Radiologists and Advanced Practitioners during procedures such as ultrasound and biopsies
- Maintain high standards of communication and adapt techniques to meet diverse patient needs
- Contribute to quality assurance, audits, and routine equipment checks
- Ensure compliance with Ionising Radiation (Medical Exposure) Regulations
- Participate in peer reviews and maintain training and competency records
- Support the training and supervision of junior staff and assistant practitioners
- Manage administrative duties in line with data protection and confidentiality standards
Requirements:
- Qualified Radiographer with relevant mammography experience
- HCPC registration
- Strong understanding of breast imaging protocols and quality standards
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to continuous professional development
