Mechanical Supervisor Location: North West Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 + 10% Bonus + Overtime + 33 Days Holiday Are you an experienced Mechanical Supervisor ready to step up into a Service Manager role? The Opportunity As Service Manager, you will lead a team of 11 engineers within a workshop environment, ensuring high standards of productivity, quality, and continuous improvement. You’ll also act as the primary technical contact for both customers and suppliers. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone who enjoys combining team management with technical involvement. You will oversee operations across two sites, with regular travel (2–3 nights per week). A company van will be provided for site travel. Key Responsibilities * Lead, motivate, and develop a team of 11 engineers * Drive productivity, quality standards, and operational processes * Oversee service operations across two sites * Deliver training and support continuous improvement initiatives * Act as the main technical point of contact for customers and suppliers About You * Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor or Team Leader * Strong technical knowledge of gearboxes, motors, engines, pumps, and rotating equipment * Hands-on experience with stripping, inspection, and repair of mechanical components * Ambitious and ready to progress into a Service Manager role * Comfortable with travel and working across multiple sites What’s on Offer * Competitive salary of £50,000 – £60,000 * 10% achievable bonus * Overtime and additional allowances to increase earnings * 33 days holiday * Company van for travel This role is ideal for a driven Mechanical Supervisor looking to advance into a senior leadership position within a well-established and growing engineering company.
