Our engineering teams play a vital role in designing and delivering oilfield subsurface components, systems, and control equipment that enable reliable energy production worldwide.Partner with the bestAs an Lead Mechanical Engineer , you will support the design and development of oilfield subsurface components, systems, and/or controls equipment.This role provides a structured environment to develop your technical, professional, and safety competencies while supporting design, manufacturing, and verification activities.As an Lead Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for:Supporting the creation of layouts, functional component specifications, stack‑up evaluations, and assembly proceduresInterpreting customer engineering specifications to produce layout, detail, and assembly designsAssisting with the creation of work packs, reviewing detail drawings, and supporting small engineering teams under supervisionDeveloping conceptual design requirements and layouts following Design Process Management (DPM) protocolsCreating detail, fabrication, and assembly drawings in accordance with ASME Y14.5 standardsModifying and creating 3D models and drawings to manufacturing standards using parametric design practicesSupporting manufacturing through application of design‑for‑manufacture principles for machining, welding, and assemblyCreating Bills of Materials (BOMs) within documentation systems for engineer approvalParticipating in design verification activities, including tolerance studies, manufacturability reviews, and basic calculationsSupporting Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and Prototype Verification Test (PVT) procedures and documenting resultsEnsuring design documentation and data are accurately archived in electronic document management systemsIdentifying opportunities to improve existing products, processes, and procedures in a cost‑effective mannerFuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:Have an Engineering Mechanical or a related engineering disciplineHave Strong understanding of engineering design principles, verification processes, and risk assessmentHave proven experience in Oil and Gas Industry.Have knowledge of materials, including metals, elastomers, welding, and heat treatment processesHave awareness of relevant industry standards and engineering codesBe conscientious, adaptable, and eager to learn in a structured engineering environmentHave strong written and verbal communication skillsBe able to work effectively within a team while responding professionally to changing work demandsWork in a way that works for youWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way people deliver their best work can vary.
