The Reception provision is well-established, with clear routines, defined learning areas, and a practical approach to supporting children as they transition into full-time education. There is a strong focus on communication, early language, and phonics, with systems in place to identify and support pupils who need additional input early on. Staff work closely together, and leaders are visible and supportive, ensuring expectations are clear and consistently applied across the setting. You will: • Deliver a balanced approach across adult-led learning and continuous provision • Support early reading, writing, and language development • Create a calm, organised, and engaging classroom environment • Track progress and adapt provision to meet individual needs • Build positive relationships with parents and carers What They’re Looking For This role would suit a Reception Teacher who: • Holds UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) • Has experience within EYFS or a strong understanding of early years practice • Is confident delivering phonics and supporting early language development • Can establish clear routines and manage behaviour effectively • Takes a consistent and practical approach to teaching Please note: Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
