The Role - Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant
As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils aged 11-16 through 1:1 and small-group interventions, helping them access education and develop positive behaviours.
A key aspect of this Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant role will involve managing challenging behaviour using structured and consistent strategies. You will help pupils regulate their emotions, re-engage with learning, and build confidence in a safe and supportive environment.
Developing strong relationships will be essential, as you act as a positive role model for pupils who benefit from clear boundaries and consistent encouragement.
