We’re looking for a skilled Manual Machinist with welding experience to step into a key role within our small, friendly engineering team.
You’ll be working within a small team and supporting a wide range of machining and fabrication tasks. If you enjoy variety, autonomy, and being the go‑to person for hands‑on engineering, this is a great fit.
What You’ll Be Doing as the Manual Machinist
Manual machining using manual lathes and manual mills
TIG welding of stainless steel (training available if needed)
Occasional brazing and general fabrication work
Producing high‑quality, accurate components for internal use
Working collaboratively with a small, supportive team
What We’re Looking For in the Manual Machinist
Essential: Strong manual machining experience (Milling and turning)
Desirable: Any welding experience (TIG is ideal but not essential)
Someone comfortable being the sole machinist on site
A practical, hands‑on engineer who enjoys problem‑solving
Willingness to learn and upskill where needed

£43,000 – £46,000 salary

9‑day fortnight (07:30 – 16:20)
