Maintenance Fitter Newark £40k + Overtime + Weekly Production Bonus + Great Company Benefit Permanent – NO NIGHT SHIFT I am currently looking for a Maintenance Fitter to provide maintenance support covering a wide range of plant and equipment in a busy production environment. Ensuring breakdowns are attended to and resolved quickly to maintain minimal downtime and disruption to the production process, you will be expected to: - * Carry out routine inspection on various plant and equipment, carrying out repair work during normal production activity whilst providing engineering solutions to assist and maximise operational capacity * Undertake fault-finding and problem-solving work on a wide range of equipment and machinery * Log breakdowns and issues accurately and effectively using software systems provided * Work with the team to oversee the installation of new and existing plant Ideally Apprentice served, you will be qualified to ONC / HND / HNC, City & Guilds Level 3 or NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering, with firm understanding of electro-mechanical & pneumatic devices i.e. pumps, valves, motors, cylinders, sensors, hydraulic systems etc You will be comfortable working in a heavy / busy plant environment, with strong fabrication experience
