Residential Support Worker – Children’s EBD Location: Ilford, East London Service: Four-bed children’s residential home Job type: Full-time, permanent We are recruiting Residential Support Workers for a four-bed children’s residential home in Ilford. The home supports children and young people with emotional and behavioural needs. You will provide consistent care, structure and positive role modelling. Responsibilities * Supporting children with daily routines and activities * Promoting emotional regulation and independence * Responding appropriately to challenging behaviour * Delivering key-work sessions * Supporting care plans and risk assessments * Completing daily records and incident reports * Supporting education, appointments and community activities * Following safeguarding and missing-from-care procedures Requirements * Recent UK children’s residential experience * Experience supporting EBD or complex behaviours * Level 3 Residential Childcare preferred * Good safeguarding knowledge * Ability to work shifts, weekends and sleep-ins * Unrestricted right to work in the UK This is an opportunity to join an established and growing care provider with a clear commitment to quality, safeguarding and positive outcomes.
