Job Title:  Warehouse Forklift Operative
Location:  Sidcup, Kent 
Hours:  10:00–18:30 - Monday to Friday (no weekends) 
Contract:  Temporary PAYE via Pertemps - £12.82 per hour 
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse Forklift Operative  on a temporary basis to provide essential cover. The successful candidate must be confident operating both Counterbalance  and Reach trucks ( in date, external license)  and willing to support a variety of warehouse duties — this is not just a forklift role , and hands‑on manual handling will be required.
Key Responsibilities
As our Warehouse Forklift Operative , you will be responsible for:
 

• Operating Counterbalance and Reach trucks  safely.
• Picking pallets, sheets, and cartons, including packing where needed.
• Assisting with unloading vehicles.
• Completing put away of pallets and cases.
• General warehouse duties and manual handling tasks.

Additional Requirements: 

• A full driving licence  is essential, as the Warehouse Forklift Operative  will occasionally be required to bring lorries into the yard in the evening when needed.
• Ability to work independently and within a small team.
• Good attention to detail and safety awareness.
