Adult Social Worker – Make a Difference with Haringey Council London Borough of Haringey Council is looking for an experienced Adult Social Worker to join their team on a full-time locum basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced practitioner seeking a rewarding role within a supportive local authority, helping adults maximise their independence and wellbeing. Pay Rate * £32.00 per hour (Umbrella) Location * London Borough of Haringey * Hybrid working available (working pattern to be discussed at interview) Contract * Full-time * Monday to Friday * ASAP start Key Responsibilities * Manage a caseload using a strengths-based approach to support adults in achieving greater independence. * Complete assessments, reviews and support plans. * Work closely with residents, carers, health professionals and partner agencies to deliver positive outcomes. * Coordinate short-term care and support carers to help prevent breakdown. * Participate in safeguarding, risk assessments and protection planning. * Maintain accurate case records and prepare documentation where required. * Work collaboratively within a Multi-Disciplinary Team to deliver person-centred services. Requirements * Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration. * Adult Social Work experience with strong assessment and care planning skills. * Good knowledge of the Care Act, safeguarding and strengths-based practice. * Ability to work effectively within a multi-agency environment.
