Commercial Gas Engineer

Our client is one of the largest facilities management and maintenance contractors in the UK, offering market leading opportunities for talented professionals looking for long term career progression. Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for a Commercial Gas Engineer to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation. We are looking for a Commercial Gas Engineer who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same. The Commercial Gas Engineer, will be responsible for: * Carry out planned, reactive, and emergency maintenance on gas appliances and associated systems * Support plumbing and basic electrical maintenance tasks * Diagnose faults and complete repairs within contractual timescales * Complete all documentation and certification accurately and on time * Monitor subcontractors and issue permits for small works as required To be successful for this Commercial Gas Engineer role you must have: * Qualified to City & Guilds Level II/III or equivalent * Commercial gas qualifications: COCN1 or CODNCO1 (CCN1), TPCP1 & TPCP1A, ICPN1, CIGA1, CDGA1, CORT1 * Experience with HVAC systems, including air handling units * Knowledge of health and safety and safe working practices * Basic electrical knowledge and plumbing experience If you feel you have the necessary skills set and experience to perform this Commercial Gas Engineer role, and you are interested in an opportunity offering unparalleled career development, please apply now
