Production Operative  Location: Plymouth - Permanent Role Hours: Full time, Day shifts Salary: £29k + We are currently recruiting a Production Operative to join a busy and well‑established manufacturing/production environment. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who is reliable, detail‑focused, and comfortable working to quality standards and production targets. The Role  As a Production Operative, you will support day‑to‑day production activities, ensuring products are prepared, processed, and finished to the required standards. You’ll work as part of a team to maintain efficiency, accuracy, and consistency throughout the production process. Key Responsibilities  Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently Follow job instructions, work orders, and production schedules Monitor output to ensure quality standards are met Carry out visual checks before, during, and after production Identify faults or defects and take appropriate action Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment Meet daily production targets and deadlines Minimise waste and support continuous improvement Carry out basic equipment checks and routine housekeeping tasks   About You  Previous experience in a production, manufacturing, or warehouse environment is desirable but not essential Good attention to detail and a quality‑focused approach Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced setting Comfortable following processes and health & safety procedures Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team   What’s on Offer  Full training provided Ongoing, stable work Supportive team environment Opportunity to develop practical production skills   If you’re looking for a practical, hands‑on role within a production environment and enjoy working towards shared targets, we’d like to hear from you.
