We are working with a well-regarded secondary school in the Portsmouth area that is seeking a dedicated and engaging Science Teacher to join their team. The Role As a Science Teacher, you will: * Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential) * Teach general science or specialise in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics * Plan, prepare, and assess students’ work in line with the national curriculum * Support students of varying abilities, including those with additional needs * Contribute to a positive and collaborative department culture The School * Supportive leadership team with a clear vision * Strong focus on behaviour and classroom standards * Well-resourced Science department * Committed to staff development and progression What We’re Looking For * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent * Experience teaching Science in a UK secondary school setting * Strong classroom management and communication skills * A proactive and committed approach to teaching What’s on Offer * Competitive salary (MPS/UPS or equivalent) * Permanent or long-term contract available * Opportunity to join a stable and supportive team * September start with potential for trial days before the end of term
