Surface Mount Machine Operative

T&K Associates are currently recruiting for a Surface Mount Machine Operator to join our client based in Ashby-de-la-Zouch on a temporary to permanent basis.

While professional experience and qualifications are key for this role, make sure to check you have the preferable soft skills before applying if required.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to join a friendly Company that has expanded over the years. Previous experience isnt required as the Company can offer full training, however the successful candidate must have some Machine Operative knowledge.

Surface Mount Machine Operator Job Details & Benefits;
Weekly Rotating shifts
Mornings - Monday Friday, 6am-2pm
Afternoons Monday Thursday 2pm-10:45pm, Friday 2pm-7pm
£14.23 (Hourly rate includes shift premium)
28 days holiday to start including bank holidays increasing with length of service to a maximum of 33 days including bank holidays

Surface Mount Machine Operator Duties;
Loading and operating a machine with some programming elements
Learning all relevant procedures to be competent enough to build a printed circuit board
Building PCB in accordance with IPC-610 criteria
Preparing and running jobs on the SMT machinery
Preparing components so they can be correctly used on the SMT line
Operate and program solder paste xwzovoh print technologies (SPI)
Relay build issues and process related concerns to the production engineers

Surface Mount Machine Operator Person Specification;
Must have previous Machine Operating experience
Strong attention to detail
Confident manner
Ability to work under pressure and complete varied duties to meet deadlines
