Complex Care Support Worker

Maplewood Independent Living is looking for a fun, energetic, and compassionate individual to join a small, dedicated care team supporting an adult with complex medical and care needs in her own home in Braintree.

Youll be part of a close-knit, supportive team, helping to create a calm, engaging, and empowering environment day to day.

Shift Patterns: A mix of day, evening, and overnight shifts are available.

Weekend availability is preferred.

Drivers are desirable but not essential, as longer shifts can be provided.

Your Role Work as part of an established team to support and maintain the clients independence at home.

Confidently assist with personal care, medication and daily routines.

Maintain accurate records.

Ensure the clients health, safety, and wellbeing at all times.

Communicate regularly with the branch manager and team.

Requirements Right to work in the UK (required).

Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.

Reliable, professional, and caring attitude.

Respect for client dignity, independence, and confidentiality.

Comfortable using a smartphone (training provided for care app).

Desired Skills Previous care experience is beneficial, but not essential.

Strong communication skills good standard of spoken and written English.

Able to work on their own initiative.

Good timekeeping and reliability.

Naturally upbeat with a good sense of humour.

Trustworthy and professional.
