Are you an experienced Quality Engineer with a background of working within metal fabrication or welding environments? A rapidly growing manufacturing business in Cheshire is looking for a Quality Engineer to join their team who will not only be dealing with day to day quality issues but also liaising with customers and ensuring all quality systems are running smoothly.

Working Monday to Friday days with a 12.30pm finish on a Friday.
Offering a salary up to £45K depending on experience Please APPLY NOW via the job board The Role: Read and understand engineering drawings, including GD&T Carry out inspections using callipers, micrometres, gauges, and other measuring tools Use automotive quality tools such as PPAP, MSA, Control Plans, FMEA, SPC, and APQP Investigate quality problems and complete 8D reports Deal with customer complaints and internal quality issues Support ISO 9001 and general quality system activities Create basic reports and work with data using Microsoft Office Suitable Candidate: Experience in welding or fabrication (CSWIP 3.0/3.1 is a bonus) Skilled with measuring and inspection tools Experience with xwzovoh calibration systems Knowledge of compliance systems like IMDS Understanding of IATF 16949 or internal audits Qualifications & Experience: HNC or higher in engineering (preferred) 3 years in a Quality Engineer or Quality Technician role CSWIP 3.0/3.1 certification is a plus If you are interested in this role 'APPLY NOW' via the job board
