About the role
CareerMakers Recruitment are looking for a Press Brake Operator to join our busy client in Lytham (FY8).

The overall purpose of the role is to work individually and on occasions as part of a team to operate a range of machinery to produce a variety of metal materials with manual and automated equipment, to a high quality standard meeting hourly production targets.
Duties:
Maintaining high quality standards at all times for standard and bespoke products
Maintaining H&S standards following instructions and wearing of appropriate PPE
Proactive communication with supervisors, managers and Quality Control regarding production, quality and H&S issues.
Maintaining a clean and tidy work area
Experience:
Previous experience of Trumpf machines
Previous experience of using measuring equipment
Practical awareness of lean manufacturing and understanding of 5S activities
Understanding of Engineering drawings
Previous experience of working in engineering sheet metal production, setting and operating CNC press-brakes xwzovoh
Understanding of basic IT
Regular quality checks
Following internal processes
Completing paperwork
Working Hours:
Days : Mon-Thurs, 7am - 4:30pm
Nights: Mon - Thurs, 6pm - 6am
Pay rate: £14 - £16
