Sustained growth is the reason they have a new requirement for a Project Engineer.
The Role You will be overseeing the planning, coordination and execution of engineering projects from inception through completion.
Ensuring that all project requirements are met, facilitate effective communication between multidisciplinary teams and drive progress toward achieving project goals while maintaining adherence to quality, budget and timeline constraints.
Responsible for developing and maintaining a project system to established standards relating to activities leading to the introduction of new products.
Review of client requirements and liaising with the clients projects functions in resolving any requirement/specification anomalies and variations.
Evaluating and prioritising work within the overall project schedule.
Control, monitoring of cost, delivery performance and quality of the project.
Develop and maintain project specific documents and procedures for work to be carried out.
Monitor and inform/communicate/apply standards created/maintained by external bodies and integrate within internal management systems.
Plan and manage departmental activities in accordance with agreed budgets and timescales.
Overseeing the various stages of development for a variety of products from concept to assembly through to dispatch to the client.
Liaise with customers and suppliers where necessary (where impacting the project schedule) to ensure contractual requirements are met and all contractual variations are maintained in detail.
Create and issue weekly/monthly progress reports to the customer as requested/necessary.
The Person Experience in a Project Engineering role within a relevant industry (high-value engineering, Oil and Gas, etc.) Minimum HNC mechanical or electrical engineering.
A recognised qualification in Project Management would be an advantage.
Must be organised, accurate and self-motivated.
Analytical thinking combined with effective communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
