Shipping Administrator (Entry Level) Location: Hull Hours: 08:30 17:30 (30-minute lunch) Salary: Competitive Kingston Recruitment are working with a well-established, independent shipping agent based in Hull who are looking to recruit a Junior Shipping Administrator to join their friendly and supportive team.

You will work closely with an experienced team, gaining hands-on experience across a range of shipping administration and customer service tasks while learning about international logistics and customs procedures.
Key Responsibilities Providing general administrative support to the shipping and operations team Assisting with the preparation of shipping documentation Communicating with customers regarding their shipping enquiries and requirements Supporting the preparation and input of quotations on the internal system Helping coordinate logistics activities both within the UK and internationally Learning about customs documentation and shipping procedures as part of your training The Ideal Candidate A strong communicator with a professional and friendly manner Organised with good attention to detail Comfortable using computers and administrative systems Keen to learn and develop new skills Able to work well as part of a small, supportive team Previous office, administration or customer service experience Once fully trained, there may be a requirement for occasional Saturdays on a rota basis .
