The job description below will outline this position: Account Manager (Service Focussed) Typically, this person will be responsible for maximising revenue from existing customer relationships within an assigned geographic territory, while also supporting the onboarding and development of new accounts.

This is a tactical, execution-focused role focused on converting warm leads and ensuring consistent coverage of accounts in the region.

The Account Manager will work closely with the operations team to progress opportunities through to order.

Duties and responsibilities of the Account Manager (Service Focussed): Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers in the assigned region Convert inbound enquiries and warm leads into orders through consistent and strategic follow-up.

Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts
- (services, engine sales, spare parts, electrical services, workshop capabilities) Conduct regular customer visits to maintain strong relationships and understand evolving customer needs Pass qualified opportunities to the operations team for technical quoting Maintain accurate CRM records of all customer interactions, visits, and opportunity progress Collaborate with operations, service, technical, and marketing teams to deliver customer requirements Support marketing initiatives by contributing to campaign ideas, providing market intelligence, and following up on marketing-generated leads Provide regular reports on activity levels, pipeline status, and regional performance Attend exhibitions and industry events to support customer relationships Keep up to date with competitor activity and market developments Support the development of OEM partner relationships within the region Build and maintain strong internal relationships to ensure seamless customer delivery Qualifications and requirements for the Account Manager (Service Focussed): Proven experience in Account Management xwzovoh and/or B2B sales, ideally within services or technical products Experience managing and growing existing customer relationships Strong CRM proficiency with the ability to manage the pipeline and track opportunities Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Self-organised with the ability to manage a regional territory independently Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel Desirable: Experience in marine, power generation, or related industrial sectors Knowledge of diesel engines, turbochargers, or mechanical components Familiarity with service and maintenance sales cycles Understanding of value-based pricing and commercial proposal development This vacancy is being advertised by HSB Technical Ltd who have been appointed to act as a recruitment partner for this role.
