Play Worker – Across Essex
Are you enthusiastic, creative, and passionate about working with children? We are currently seeking a dedicated Play Worker to join a friendly and supportive setting in Essex. £13.69 per hour
Role & Responsibilities
As a Play Worker, you will:
Plan and deliver fun, inclusive, and age-appropriate activities
Supervise and engage children during play sessions
Create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment
Encourage creativity, teamwork, and positive behaviour
Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
Ensure health and safety policies are followed at all times
Support children’s social and emotional development
Requirements & Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you should:
Have experience working with children (e.g. in schools, clubs, or childcare settings)
Be enthusiastic, patient, and approachable
Have strong communication and teamwork skills
Be reliable and flexible
Hold (or be willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS check
A relevant childcare qualification is desirable but not essential
