About the Role A growing and dynamic AV distribution business is seeking a motivated and organised Logistics Support Coordinator to join its Operations team.

This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth running of the supply chain, supporting both outbound and inbound logistics while maintaining high standards of accuracy and customer service.
Key Responsibilities Order Dispatch & Fulfilment Coordinate and oversee timely dispatch of customer orders, working closely with couriers, freight carriers, and the warehouse team.
Monitor shipment progress and proactively communicate any delays or issues.
Ensure all orders are processed accurately in line with customer requirements and internal procedures.
Damage Claims Management Manage the full lifecycle of damage claims, including raising claims, gathering evidence, and tracking outcomes.
Maintain accurate records and identify recurring issues for escalation where needed.
Collaborate with customer service and finance teams to ensure prompt resolutions and credit processing.
Import & Export Documentation Prepare and process all required documentation such as commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and customs declarations.
Ensure compliance with UK and international trade regulations and customs requirements.
Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and regulatory bodies as required.
Proof of Delivery (POD) Obtain and file POD documentation for all outbound shipments.
Resolve any discrepancies or queries efficiently with carriers and customers.
Maintain an organised and up-to-date POD system.
Warehouse Support Provide hands-on support during busy periods, including picking, packing, and goods-in activities.
Assist with stock counts and inventory checks as required.
Skills & Experience Essential Previous experience in logistics, operations, or supply chain roles.
Working knowledge of import/export procedures and documentation.
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
Confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
Desirable Experience within AV, technology, or electronics distribution.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP software. xwzovoh
Knowledge of UK customs regulations and post-Brexit trade requirements.
