About the Role An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a talented and creative Head Pastry Chef to lead the pastry division within an exclusive private members club in Mayfair. This role is ideal for a pastry professional with a refined skill set, strong leadership ability, and a passion for delivering elegant, high-quality desserts in a luxury hospitality environment.
You will take full ownership of the pastry kitchen, shaping the dessert offering across the clubs dining outlets and private events. Working closely with the Executive and Head Chef, you will ensure every element reflects precision, creativity, and consistency, in line with the clubs reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the pastry kitchen, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
Design and deliver refined dessert menus aligned with seasonal produce and the clubs culinary direction
Maintain exceptional standards of presentation, flavour, and consistency across all pastry offerings
Train, mentor, and develop the pastry team to uphold high performance and progression
Oversee production for la carte service, afternoon tea, and private events
Ensure strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and compliance standards
Manage stock control, ordering, and cost efficiency within the pastry department
Collaborate with senior chefs on menu development and overall dining experience

Ideal Candidate Profile Proven experience as a Head Pastry Chef or Senior Pastry Sous Chef in a luxury or fine dining environment
Strong background in modern European pastry, with a focus on refined, elegant presentation
Experience in high-end restaurants, hotels, or private members clubs; Michelin-level exposure preferred
Creative flair combined with strong technical execution and attention to detail
Confident leading a team and building a structured, xwzovoh high-performing pastry section
Strong organisational and time-management skills in a high-pressure environment
Passionate about premium ingredients, seasonality, and innovation
Professional, discreet, and aligned with the standards of an exclusive members-only setting
