Your Day to day duties in the role You will be involved in the machining of products ready for the next stage of the process Experience/Skills and Education Requirements * Ability to read engineering drawings * Ability to read engineering quality plans * Ability to use a wide range of inspection equipment – Micrometres, Vernier’s etc. * Detailed inspection of a wide range of precision components and fabrications in accordance with engineering drawings and written specifications. * Good organisational skills, record keeping and ability to prioritise tasks. * Ability to work accurately and to tight deadlines. * Ability to work on own initiative to think through problems to find solutions within agreed guidelines. * Attention to detail and high level of accuracy. * Ability to question a process and suggest possible improvements. Experience * Experience in all inspection functions and activities. * Experience of operating computing equipment for data processes. * Experience of inspection within the nuclear industry is desired. * Working knowledge of measurement instruments. * Working knowledge of NDE techniques and applications. * Solid background of technical understanding. * Quality Engineering. * Manufacturing Methods and Procedures * Supports Innovation.
