Senior Production Manager (manufacturing)

Manufacturing Manager Location: Cardiff, free parking onsite Salary: £35,000 + bonus Benefits: 19% pension, 33 days A/L, Half day every Friday, Private Health, Onsite Gym. As the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of seven engineers across areas such as new product introduction, process development, and industrial engineering. This is a highly managerial role focused on guiding, developing, and supporting your team while driving performance and operational excellence. The role requires close collaboration with other departments throughout the full product lifecycle — from concept and quotation, through to mass production and ongoing quality improvement. The successful candidate will be an experienced people leader, with strong problem-solving skills and a focus on continuous improvement, quality, and customer satisfaction. Mentor and develop team members, supporting both technical growth and professional development. Champion engineering quality, working closely with cross-functional partners to maintain and improve standards. Drive team performance through clear KPIs, focusing on quality, delivery, and cost efficiency. Excellent stakeholder management and cross-department collaboration skills.
