What you will do:
- Assess the dietary needs of patients with eating disorders and develop tailored nutrition plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patients on inpatient wards and within the community.
- Support the triage of mental health community waiting lists, ensuring timely and effective service delivery.
- Educate patients, their families, and staff members on the importance of nutrition in mental health recovery.
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust dietary plans as necessary, offering ongoing support and advice.
Requirements of the Dietitian:
- Degree or equivalent in dietetics is required.
- Must have recent experience working as a Dietitian within the UK.
- Registration with the HCPC to work in the UK is necessary.
