SEN Tutor - Croydon | Qualified Tutor | Immediate Start We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and experienced SEN Tutor to support young learners in the Croydon area. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the academic and emotional development of students with Special Educational Needs. Location: Croydon Start date: Immediate Hours: Flexible - part-time or full-time opportunities available Pay: £25-£35 per hour, based on experience and qualifications About the Role: The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering tailored 1:1 tuition to students who may be out of school, on reduced timetables, or require additional support due to a range of SEN, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and other complex needs. Sessions may take place in the student's home or a suitable community setting. Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging lessons in core subjects Adapt teaching strategies to meet the individual needs of each learner Build positive, trusting relationships with students and their families Support student's emotional development, confidence and readiness to learn Monitor and report on student progress Requirements: A recognised teaching qualification (QTS, QTLS, PGCE or equivalent) Proven experience working with children or young people with SEN Ability to work independently and manage own schedule Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one) Desirable: Experience supporting students excluded from mainstream education Training in behaviour management strategies (e.g. Team Teach, MAPA) Strong understanding of EHCPs and SEN-related support frameworks If this is something you're interested in please 'APPLY NOW' and you will be shortlisted and contacted within 72 hours if successful , Good luck
