A leading global technology consultancy is looking for a Data & ML Architect to join its growing Advanced Technology team in Newcastle.

This is a high-impact role where youll define and deliver enterprise-grade data and AI solutions for major public and private sector clients.

Youll sit at the intersection of strategy, architecture, and innovation , leading the design of scalable data platforms and advanced machine learning solutions.

What youll be doing Own the end-to-end architecture of data platforms and AI/ML solutions Define and influence data & AI strategy at enterprise level Design scalable solutions across cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP) Lead implementation of MLOps frameworks and model lifecycle management Architect advanced AI use cases (NLP, LLMs, Agentic AI) Drive best practice across data governance, modelling, and platform design Engage with senior stakeholders to translate business needs into technical roadmaps What were looking for Strong experience in data architecture & large-scale systems design Expertise across Python, SQL, Spark, Scala Deep knowledge of AI/ML frameworks and modern data platforms Experience with cloud-native architecture and DevOps (Kubernetes, Terraform, xwzovoh CI/CD) Proven ability to lead, mentor, and influence technical teams Strong stakeholder engagement skills in client-facing environments The offer Work on cutting-edge AI and data transformation programmes Access to a global network of experts and training Hybrid working (Newcastle-based, 3 days onsite) Strong benefits package career progression pathways Note: Security clearance required (5 years UK address history).
