At Trelowen Manor, we are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering person-centred support to individuals, empowering them to live as independently as possible and achieve their full potential.
This is a rewarding, hands-on role within a supportive environment where you will make a meaningful difference every day. Applicants must already hold a completed Care Certificate and have experience supporting people with learning disabilities and autism. You should also demonstrate a genuine willingness to continue developing your skills and growing within the role.
Duties Deliver high-quality, person-centred support within Trelowen Manor
Assist with daily living activities, promoting independence, dignity, and choice
Provide emotional support, mentoring, and encouragement tailored to individual needs
Support individuals with developing life skills and engaging in meaningful activities
Promote social inclusion and positive relationships
Assist with meal preparation and support in line with Food Safety standards
Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of care and support provided
Work collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals to deliver holistic care
Experience & Requirements Previous experience supporting vulnerable individuals is desirable
A caring, patient, and empathetic approach
Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
A completedCare Certificate or higher
Food Safety / Food Hygiene Certificate
A full UK driving licence is desirable
All applicants must be subject to an Enhanced DBS check. xwzovoh We prefer candidates who are registered with the DBS Update Service, however this is not essential as a new DBS check will be carried out prior to employment.
