Accounting Supervisor / Management Accountant

Management Accountant £50k - £60k Glasgow City Centre (Charing Cross) Permanent Role Interviews will be held next week at our clients HQ Oliver Smith Recruitment are working exclusively with our client in Glasgow to recruit a highly skilled, motivated, and detail-driven Qualified Accountant to join our clients expanding team. Duties: Preparing monthly management accounts, providing analysis. Owning the reconciliation and consolidation of all balance sheet accounts and resolving discrepancies. Supporting the Finance Director with the annual budgeting process and ongoing reforecasting cycles. Assisting the Finance Director with reporting requirements to the Group finance function. Supporting the income reconciliation process. Take responsibility for risk management and compliance activities, including preparing and submitting VAT returns to HMRC. Ensure ongoing compliance with legal requirements, accounting standards, and internal policies. Support the annual audit process. Identify and implement improvements to financial processes and controls. Contribute to ad-hoc projects as required. Interviews will be held next week at our clients HQ.
