Job Title: Estimator Commercial Construction

Commutable to: Folkestone (Typically 4 days in office with 1 site visit per week)
Remuneration: £60,000 - £70,000neg

The role of Estimator Commercial Construction will involve:
Estimator position dealing with range of commercial construction projects including fit-out, strip-out and refurb
Interpreting technical drawings, generating & following up quotations
Estimating for a range of commercial projects such as; housing associations, shopping centres, within the education sector and on light industrial projects.
Negotiating with clients, project managers, quantity surveyors and internal estimating team
Producing formal quotations to customers
Taking details from drawings to produce BOQs allowing for a timely return of quotations for customer deadlines
Keeping good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database
Contacting customers, dealing with queries and providing additional technical information
Working on projects ranging in value from £250k to circa £2m+
The ideal applicant will be an Estimator Commercial Construction with:
Must have 5-10 years estimating within the commercial construction industry
Must have first principle estimating experience
Would be open to someone within strip-out, refurb, fit-out, new build,
Good technical knowledge and good understanding of industry processes, materials and costs
Ideally would have a quantity surveying degree
Stable career, highly organised with good attention to detail
Excellent communication xwzovoh skills both written and verbal
IT literate (Microsoft Office)
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
