Temporary Mechanical Maintenance Technician

MTrecs new career opportunity We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Technician to support our clients operations on a temporary basis.

The job youll do The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a range of production equipment, with a strong focus on hydraulic systems and electric furnaces.

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.

Diagnose faults and perform repairs on electrical and mechanical systems.

Maintain and troubleshoot hydraulic systems.

Work with PLC-controlled machinery.

Ensure minimal downtime and respond to breakdowns.

Follow health & safety procedures.

Complete maintenance records.

About You HNC or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.

Have followed a recognised Engineering apprenticeship.

Health and Safety knowledge in an Engineering environment.

Excellent organisational, analytical and communication skills.
