Ark Conway Primary Academy has been a highly successful one-form entry primary school in Hammersmith & Fulham, achieving excellent outcomes. We are now seeking to appoint a Head of School to build on the strong foundations in place.
The Head of School will be a committed, visible and caring leader serving a diverse community, with over 38% of our pupils on free school meals. This is an exciting opportunity for a proven Assistant or Vice Principal with a track record of hands-on leadership and excellent communication. The appointed Head of School will have the support of a dedicated Executive Principal, the wider Ark network and fellow Ark heads. This could also be the ideal role for an existing Headteacher who values collaboration and is looking to join a network of schools where they can have wider impact. The new Head of School will join Ark Conway this September, or sooner if possible.
The incoming Head of School will join a high-achieving primary school praised in its most recent Ofsted (July 2024); but with more work to do. We are seeking to appoint a hardworking and committed Head of School who values the importance of building strong relationships with parents, staff and children.

About Us
Ark Conway Primary Academy opened as a new primary school for 4-11 year olds in a refurbished, beautiful library on Hemlock Road, White City in September 2011. It has one form of entry and is non-denominational and non-selective, welcoming boys and girls of all abilities from the local area.
We pride ourselves on having the highest expectations for all pupils at the school, which results in high achievement for all. Our values-based culture ensures a happy and respectful environment, where children develop self-awareness and subsequently embrace learning from their mistakes.
