Quantity Surveyor - Main Contractor - Central London
Salary: £60,000 - £75,000 + package (dependent on experience)
A well-established main contractor delivering some of London's most prestigious commercial, residential, and retail schemes is looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding commercial team. With a strong pipeline of secured work, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a business that offers both stability and exposure to high-profile projects across Central London.
This role would suit a driven Quantity Surveyor who is confident managing packages and contributing to the full commercial lifecycle, while continuing to develop within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
Role Overview
- Title: Quantity Surveyor
- Projects: Commercial, Residential & Retail schemes
- Location: Central London
- Salary: £55,000 - £75,000 + package (dependent on experience)
- Start: ASAP (flexible for notice periods)
- Type: Permanent
Responsibilities
- Manage procurement and subcontractor packages
- Prepare and manage valuations, variations, and final accounts
- Support cost reporting, forecasting, and financial control
- Attend and contribute to project and client meetings
- Work collaboratively with project teams to ensure successful delivery
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a main contractor
- Experience across commercial, residential, or mixed-use schemes
- Strong understanding of the full commercial lifecycle
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proactive and detail-oriented approach
