IT Operational Platforms & Security Lead Global Insurance | Cloud-First Transformation London (Hybrid – 3 days in office) £La Fosse is partnered with a leading global insurer to appoint an IT Operational Platforms & Security Lead. A key leadership role driving infrastructure operations, cloud transformation, and cyber security excellence across a complex, global technology estate. You’ll take ownership of the company’s infrastructure and security platforms , leading a small in-house team and managing an MSP to deliver a secure, resilient, and scalable IT environment. Lead and evolve infrastructure operations across Azure , Microsoft 365 , and hybrid cloud environments Enhance and secure the global IT estate, including patching , IAM , endpoint protection , and monitoring Own and optimise disaster recovery , business continuity , and compliance ( ISO 27001 , GDPR , FCA ) Oversee third-party vendors to ensure performance, SLAs, and service delivery are met Embed DevOps principles and automation to increase efficiency and reliability Proven experience in IT infrastructure operations and Microsoft Azure Deep technical expertise in Microsoft 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Intune) Strong background in cybersecurity , including Zero Trust, IAM, and tools such as Defender and Sentinel This is a pivotal opportunity to shape the future of IT operations and security within a truly global, cloud-first organisation.
