The Opportunity
We're partnering with a well-established, independent building services consultancy with over 25 years of experience delivering high-quality engineering solutions across the UK.

Based in London , you'll join a respected, close-knit team known for delivering innovative, low-carbon design solutions across sectors including commercial, healthcare, education, residential, and industrial .

This is a key strategic hire, offering the opportunity to take a leading role in project delivery, client relationships, and team development within a growing and forward-thinking consultancy.

The Role
As a Principal Electrical Engineer, you'll take ownership of both technical excellence and project leadership , acting as a key point of contact for clients and internal teams.

Key responsibilities:
Lead electrical design delivery across multiple projects
Take overall responsibility for project quality, timelines, and technical standards
Build and maintain strong client relationships
Support business development, including bids and proposals
Mentor and develop engineers across the team
Drive sustainable and low-carbon design strategies
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders
About You
Degree qualified in Electrical or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent)
Significant experience within a building services consultancy environment
Strong track record of leading projects and managing client relationships
In-depth knowledge of UK building regulations and design standards
Proficient in industry tools (e.g. Amtech, Dialux/Relux, AutoCAD/Revit)
Chartered Engineer status (or working toward, ideally near completion)
Commercial awareness and ability to contribute to business growth
