LEVEL 3 Nursery SENCO

Are you a passionate Early Years SENCO looking to make a real difference? A well-established nursery in Oldbury is looking for a dedicated and experienced SENCO to join their team between the hours of 9-3pm, Monday- Friday. The nursery are committed to providing the highest quality care and tailored education for every child. As SENCO, you will play a vital role in identifying, supporting, and empowering children with special educational needs and their families. Key Responsibilities: * Manage the day-to-day operation of the SEN policy, following a graduated approach (Assess, Plan, Do, Review). * Work closely with key persons, parents, and outside agencies to provide bespoke support. * Provide specialist education and training to staff to enhance inclusion. * Oversee records and write detailed reports for children with SEND. What we are looking for: * Minimum Level 3 Early Years Qualification. * Level 3 Paediactric First Aid Qualification (desirable) * English GCSE grade C/4+ (if qualified after Sept 2014) * Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to complete one) * Proven experience as a SENCO in a nursery setting. * Deep knowledge of the EYFS and SEND Code of Practice. * Strong communication skills to build partnerships with families.
