In-House Solicitor (Property Litigation)Hertfordshire4 – 8 PQE70K - 80KA leading UK property and investment group is seeking an experienced In-House Solicitor to join its legal team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality legal support to a substantial residential leasehold property management business, working closely with the Head of Legal and a range of internal and external stakeholders. The role will have a particular focus on property management, building safety and property litigation, with exposure to complex and commercially significant matters across England and Wales.The RoleAdvising on building safety and property management matters, both contentious and non-contentiousInvestigating complex leasehold and freehold title structuresDrafting, reviewing, amending and proofreading legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, correspondence and external adviceAssisting with the preparation of case files (where appropriate), court and tribunal filings, and legal briefsDrafting, reviewing and amending contracts, pleadings, correspondence and other legal documentsAssisting with the preparation of case files, court and tribunal documentation and legal briefsThe ideal candidate will have:At least 4 years' PQE as a Solicitor, with experience in property litigation gained in private practice or in-houseStrong experience in residential property law, including complex leasehold and freehold title investigationsExperience of property disputes and/or building safety mattersConstruction law experience would be advantageousStrong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple prioritiesExperience using Microsoft Office and legal research platforms such as Westlaw and LexisNexisThis is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor looking to develop their in-house career within a diverse property environment, working alongside an experienced Head of Legal and gaining exposure to complex property, litigation, building safety and regulatory matters.Interested?
