About the role
We are working with a reputable client based in Ashford (TN24) who require an Electrician to join their team.
The full job description covers all associated skills, previous experience, and any qualifications that applicants are expected to have.
The position is a permanent role paying £200 - £250 per day (DOE).
Working Hours:
Monday - Friday: 7.00am - 5.00pm
Holidays: 28 days holiday (including bank holidays)
(Company vehicle + fuel card provided)
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as an Electrician
Key Responsibilities:
* Install electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in line with technical specifications and safety regulations
* Carry out routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems
* Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults using appropriate tools and testing equipment
* Repair or replace defective wiring, circuit breakers, switches, and other components
* Ensure all work complies with current electrical codes and health & safety standards
* Accurately document completed work and report system conditions to management
* Support the planning and delivery of electrical projects as required
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and fault-finding
* Competence in using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment for electrical tasks
* Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, xwzovoh and technical drawings
* Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent)
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
* Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
* Full UK driving licence preferred; willingness to travel between sites as needed
