Quality Technician
- Annual Salary: £14.50 per hour
- Location: Leatherhead, Surrey
- Job Type: Full-time - 2-month contract with potential extension

As a Quality Technician reporting to the Head of Quality, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of our products that are trusted by major brands globally. Day-to-day of the role:
- Visually inspect and measure incoming parts against design specifications.
- Quarantine nonconforming parts and communicate issues effectively.
- Triage production line defects, raise problem reports, and drive actions to resolution.
- Provide support to the production line and engineering teams by conducting visual inspections and measurements of parts/assemblies as requested.
- Assist the stores/inventory teams with stock take or other activities when needed.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations and policies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Quality Technician in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
- Excellent understanding of containment and immediate correction processes.
- Experienced in inspecting components and familiar with various inspection methods and equipment.
- Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, both 2D and 3D design data.
- High level of competency in Microsoft Office and/or similar software packages.
- Strong team player with effective collaboration skills.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
Advantageous:
- Deep problem-solving experience using quality methods and tools such as 8D, Ishikawa, 5-Why.
- Formal engineering qualification.
- Experience with Confluence and Airtable software tools. xwzovoh
