Domestic Electrician

Job Title: Domestic Electrician (Social Housing) Location: North London (Haringey) Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 + Company Van & Fuel Card + benefits  Type: Permanent   The Opportunity An established contractor is looking to strengthen its electrical team due to a busy, long-term framework within social housing. Working across void properties for a London Borough contract, you'll be part of a high-volume programme delivering 40-50 jobs per month, ensuring properties are brought back up to standard efficiently and safely. This is a stable, long-term role with consistent work and a supportive team environment.   Key Responsibilities Carrying out domestic electrical works within void properties Testing, inspection, fault finding, and remedial works Ensuring all works are completed in line with current regulations and compliance standards Working across multiple properties daily in a fast-paced environment Liaising with supervisors, QS, and other trades on-site Maintaining high standards of health & safety and documentation What They're Looking For Qualified Electrician (Level 2 / Level 3 accepted) Experience within social housing / domestic projects (ideally voids) Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently Strong understanding of testing and compliance Good communication and a proactive attitude Desirable: Asbestos Awareness (or willingness to complete training) What's On Offer £40,000 - £45,000 salary Company van & fuel card Long-term, stable work via a secured framework Supportive, down-to-earth team culture Opportunity to trial the role initially (1-2 weeks) before committing permanently Team & Culture Mixed experience across the team Strong technical leadership in place Collaborative environment with a good balance of experience and younger engineers Opportunity to progress, including into supervisory roles Additional Opportunity They are also open to speaking with Electrical Supervisors looking to step into or continue within a similar environment.   Next Steps Shortlisting is moving quickly, initial Teams/telephone interviews available.   Apply now or get in touch to discuss further
