Document Controller

£35,000 – £50,000 depending on experience Contract: £200 – £300 per day depending on experience Chapman Recruitment are seeking an experienced Document Controller / Document Controller Asset Integrator to support a major project at Heathrow Airport. This Document Controller role combines document control and asset integration within a complex and highly regulated airport environment. The Document Controller will play a key role in ensuring accurate information management across all project stages. Document Controller Requirements: • Proven experience as a Document Controller within construction, engineering, or similar environments • Strong working knowledge of EDMS systems • Experience with Documentum and Maxinet is essential for this Document Controller role • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) • Strong attention to detail and organisational ability • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to manage large volumes of documentation accurately and efficiently Document Controller Key Responsibilities: • Manage document numbering, version control, and naming conventions • Maintain and update Document Control / EDMS systems throughout the project lifecycle • Distribute controlled documents and ensure correct approvals are followed • Produce and maintain document registers • Coordinate asset information and validate against employer requirements • Monitor workflows and approvals within EDMS systems • Produce monthly Quality KPI reports • Ensure all documentation meets regulatory and project requirements • Liaise with internal teams, contractors, and clients • Support Project Managers with reporting and document tracking Additional information for Document Controller: • Experience of Heathrow Employer Requirements is advantageous • Experience in document control within construction, engineering, or related sectors is preferred but not essential Chapman Recruitment provide both permanent and temporary opportunities as an Employment Business.
