About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and committed SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) Learning Support Assistant to join a supportive school in Warrington. This full-time, term-time position involves supporting students who need additional emotional and educational guidance to thrive in their learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support students with SEMH needs in both classroom and one-to-one settings
Assist teachers in delivering tailored learning plans and strategies
Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff
Build positive relationships and offer consistent emotional support
Support students' social, emotional, and behavioural developmentRequirements
Experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs (highly desirable)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A calm, patient, and empathetic approach
Must be a confident driver with access to a vehicle (essential)
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
A strong commitment to safeguarding and child welfareBenefits
