Mechanical Fitter

Key Responsibilities: Assemble and test products to engineering drawings and specifications Maintain quality standards and follow all Health & Safety procedures Support team members and assist with training where required Identify and escalate faults or non-conformance issues Complete documentation, production records, and stock control Maintain 6S standards and contribute to continuous improvementWhat's in it for you as a Mechanical Fitter: Salary of £34,717 on a skilled grade Early finish every Friday Staggered day shift (start between 06:00 - 07:30, fixed once agreed) 8-hour days Monday to Thursday, 5.5 hours Friday Clean, well-organised workshop with modern equipment Stable, long-term opportunity with development potentialWhat We're Looking For: Experience working as a Mechanical Fitter or similar role NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline Background in machine build or OEM machinery assembly Ability to read engineering drawings and work independently Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude The site is easily accessible from Bradford, Leeds, Huddersfield, Wakefield, and Halifax.
