Procurement Assistant

Role and Responsibilities * Monitor stock levels and work closely with stock control * Identify slow and fast-moving stock and act on risks * Raise and manage purchase orders * Track orders and provide clear updates * Handle supplier returns, credits, and warranty issues * Support import and export activity, including customs paperwork * Coordinate logistics and urgent deliveries * Maintain accurate records for goods and stock * Support the Procurement Manager and provide cover when needed Key Requirements * Strong organisation and attention to detail * Clear communication skills * Confident working with numbers and data * Good Excel skills * Able to manage workload and meet deadlines * Team player with a proactive approach * ERP system knowledge is helpful but not essential Benefits and Perks * 25 days holiday + bank holidays (rising to 28 with service) * Option to buy up to 10 extra days * CIPS training and development * Pension: 4% employer / 4% employee * Salary sacrifice pension option * Death in service (7x salary) * Health cash plan * Profit-related bonus (after 12 months) * Birthday voucher Why Apply This is an ideal role for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment where you will be surrounded by experienced procurement and engineering professionals and given the opportunity to complete a supported CIPS qualification
