Tool Maker

Tool Maker Location: Leighton Buzzard Salary: £40,000-£44,000 per annum Working Hours: Core Hours 9am-5pm, with flexibility required between the hours of 6am and 9pm Permanent We’re partnering with a global leader in their industry to recruit a skilled Tool Maker into their Engineering team. This role is key to maintaining and improving high-volume, high-performance production,. Key Responsibilities for Tool Maker: * Repair and maintain mould tools. * Attend breakdowns, identify fault and problem solve issues and address with minimal downtime to aid production. * Estimate length of time required to complete a job. * Ensure all work is undertaken to a high-quality standard and adheres to all quality standard regulations. * Ensure company targets are met in respect of quality and efficiently. * Manufacture new tooling and ancillary spares to support production activity. * Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance on mould tools. * Carry out scheduled tool version changes. * Be actively involved in improvement activities to support the achievement of departmental and company objectives.
