Exam Invigilator

We are recruiting reliable and professional Exam Invigilators for a lovely secondary school located in Sandwich, Kent for the Summer 2026 Exam Season. This is a fantastic opportunity to support students during an important stage of their academic journey while working flexible, school‑based hours within a well‑established exam setting. Location: Sandwich, Kent (CT13) Start Date: Summer Exam Season 2026 Role: Exam Invigilator Contract: Part-time, flexible sessions Hours: Typically between 8:30am – 3.30:00pm (varies by exam timetable) Pay: £13- £14.50 per hour Key Responsibilities: * Supervise examinations in line with school regulations * Distribute and collect exam papers and materials * Ensure exam conditions are maintained at all times * Monitor candidates and ensure no malpractice occurs * Provide calm, appropriate support to students during exams * Support students with additional or special educational needs where required * Communicate effectively with teaching and exams staff About You: * Experience working with children or young people, ideally within an exam or school setting * Professional, reliable, and confident enforcing exam procedures * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Patient, calm, and able to remain focused throughout exam sessions * Able to adhere to safeguarding and confidentiality requirements Why Join Us? * Flexible, sessional work during the exam period * Structured and well‑organised exam environment * Ideal for those seeking term‑time or short‑term work * Opportunity to support students at a crucial academic stage
